The first warm edge spacer profile produced in Europe.
CHROMATECH spacer, which resembles an aluminium one with double perforation in shape and appearance, is extraordinarily resistant as it is made entirely of stainless steel.
A spacer bar measures 6.5 millimetres high, 6 metres long and wide in a measure which may range from 7.5 to 23.5 millimetres. Its thickness of 0.18 millimetres makes it the most resistant warm edge spacer profile for glazed units.
The spacers are packed into cardboard boxes or into stillages. In the latter case, the bars measuring 7.5 millimetres in thickness are separated with a thin sheet of paper, whilst those of greater thickness are tied into bundles of 16 bars.
CHROMATECH can be used in the production of frames with plastic corner keys or bent using all bending machines for stainless steel available today on the market.
Its particularly resistant structure makes it suitable for the realization of exceptionally large and/or heavy windows, as well for horizontal walkable windows.
CHROMATECH spacer profile can be supplied in Natural or Painted Black finishes.
In the latest version, the top layer of the spacer (the flanges and the uppermost 2 millimetres of the sides) are black-painted.
